What documents are required to incorporate a company?

For all the incorporations, you are required to supply certain documents.

Documents needed for a company incorporation?

We need documents for people or companies that are:

  • going to be directors of new companies
  • shareholders of new companies
  • beneficiaries of new companies; in cases where the owners have used nominee shareholders or directors

Each company has slightly different rules, but in general ,

Physical persons

  • copy of a passport (sometimes this needs to be inspected by a notary, and may need an apostille)
  • a proof of residence which has a date in the last three months (sometimes this needs to be inspected by a notary, and may need an apostille)

Corporate entities

  • the incorporation certificate
  • the deeds, or articles of the company
  • a certificate of existence and good standing (sometimes this needs to be inspected by a notary, and may need an apostille)
  • A current list of company shareholders

Specific requirements

In cases where nominee directors or shareholders are used, we need the same information for the true owners of the company.
